A Kahoot alternative with a roasting host
If you like running quizzes the Kahoot way, Hey Flingo will feel familiar on the first question. The difference is who is on stage with you.
Is Hey Flingo a free Kahoot alternative?
Yes. The free plan takes up to 20 players and includes Flingo, the roasting host, for 4 full games a month. There is nothing to install: players join in the browser with a PIN or a QR code.
Does it work like Kahoot?
The game will feel familiar: questions on the big screen, four coloured answers on every phone, points for being right and being fast, a leaderboard between questions and a podium at the end. There are also true or false, pick all, guess the number, polls and slides.
What is different?
Flingo. He is a flamingo who hosts the night: he roasts the leaderboard, comments on wrong answers, runs votes and hot takes in the lobby while people join, and sums up the game at the end. Players can send reactions to the big screen too.
How many players can join?
Up to 20 on Free, 200 for one night with a Party Pass ($5), 150 on Plus ($9 a month) and 500 on Pro ($19 a month).
Which languages does it speak?
English, Spanish, German, French and Portuguese, on the big screen, on the phones and in what Flingo says.
Can I make my own questions?
Yes. Write them yourself, add pictures and sounds, or ask for suggestions on a topic and keep the ones you like.
