Hey Flingo is run by Globetrotters Sports ApS. This page says what we keep about you, why, and who else sees it. Questions or requests go to [email protected].

If you host quizzes

We keep your email address, the name you give us, your language, your plan, the quizzes you write and the pictures you upload, and the results of the games you run. We use them to log you in, show you your quizzes and run your games. We do not sell them and we do not show you ads.

If you play

You do not need an account. A game keeps the name you type, the picture you pick, your answers and your score. The host sees them on the big screen and in the results. Your phone keeps a small token so you can rejoin if the connection drops.

Flingo

Flingo's lines are written by Claude, an AI model from Anthropic. To write them we send the question, the answers, the scoreboard and the players' names to Anthropic. Anthropic does not use this to train its models.

Who else handles your data

• Mailgun (EU) sends the login codes.
• Stripe takes payments. We never see your card number.
• Anthropic writes Flingo's lines.
• Cloudflare sits in front of the site and sees ordinary web traffic.

Cookies

One cookie keeps you logged in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.

Deleting things

You can delete a quiz at any time, and you can delete your whole account from the account page. That removes your quizzes, pictures and game results. Payment records stay with Stripe for as long as bookkeeping law requires.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or have it deleted, and you can complain to your data protection authority. Write to [email protected].
